But when we experience stress on an ongoing basis, with very little respite and few tools to help us manage it, we run the risk of burning out - the result of our nervous system being dysregulated for so long it that ceases to work in the way it is meant to.
But the good news is that burnout is completely avoidable; through maintaining healthy at-work boundaries and proactively taking care of our wellbeing.
This quiz is a tool designed to help you better understand your own stress levels and their potential impact on your wellbeing.
The questions in this quiz are based on the content from our Understanding and Avoiding Burnout session – a workshop that teaches attendees how to better understand their stress response and offers practical stress management tools and strategies to help individuals avoid burnout and support a better sense of wellness.
